The report
What your report covers
Every report starts with a one page summary, then groups findings by how much they matter. Here is the layout, so you know what to expect.

SAMPLE LAYOUT The structure below shows how our reports are organised. It is not a report on a real property. [SAMPLE REPORT PDF: add a real, anonymised sample when available]
1. Summary
Overall condition compared with similar homes of the same age and type, the most important findings in a short list, and the timber pest result.
2. Major defects
Defects that are significant enough to need prompt repair or to affect how the building performs, with photos and plain explanations.
3. Safety hazards
Anything that could cause injury, such as loose balustrades, unsafe stairs or damaged wiring covers we can see.
4. Minor defects
Maintenance items that are typical for the age of the home, grouped by area.
5. Timber pests
Active termites, past damage, borers, wood decay, and conducive conditions with practical fixes.
6. Access and limitations
Areas we could not reach, why, and what that means for your risk.
